The importance of a learner’s native language cannot be overstated: a Czech learner will make different mistakes to a Spanish learner and vice versa. In this presentation, Tom Czaban (a British native speaker with several years of teaching experience in the Czech Republic) discusses some of the main English mistakes Czech learners make. He’ll also touch upon why Czechs make these errors and how to avoid them.
